Technical training for CSIRT/SOC on managing threat intelligence

At this training, the participants will learn to pinpoint different threats, handle relevant intelligence, decide the right information usage, and operationalize all data at their disposal. It will offer insight into various threat intelligence tools and automation possibilities, as well as techniques to share information with domestic and international allies. 

The training focuses on managing intelligence workflows, recognizing malware signatures, using open-source intelligence, evaluating intelligence credibility; optimizing MISP use; and setting up effective information management practices. These actions are meant to enhance regional cooperation in intelligence sharing and establish standard procedures for collective security strategies. 

The training features esteemed instructors from CERT-EE / Information System Authority of Estonia: Tõnu Tammer, the previous Director of CERT-EE, and Heiki Pikker, Senior Information Security Expert.
