About Us
A warm welcome to KnowCyber.eu
KnowCyber.eu provides cybersecurity knowledge in the form of an online collection of best practices, events, and activities related to national cybersecurity, with a particular focus on the Western Balkans. You’ll find relevant and up-to-date information here, whether you’re a cybersecurity professional or simply interested in the field.
Our aim
The KnowCyber.eu website is a knowledge hub sharing good practices and valuable information for cybersecurity capacity-building in the Western Balkans.
The KnowCyber.eu website is made possible by the European Union’s Cyber Balkan project implemented by the e-Governance Academy. This project aims to enhance the cyber resilience of the Western Balkans in compliance with EU acquis and best practices by improving cybersecurity prevention, preparedness and response of relevant public and private stakeholders in the Western Balkans partners Albania, Bosnia and Herzegovina, Kosovo*, Montenegro, North Macedonia, and Serbia.
One project outcome is to compile lessons learned and create a compendium of good practice, which can be used to inform future cybersecurity capacity-building activities in the region and beyond. For modern information sharing a online format for the compendium was chosen and knowcyber.eu was created.
