The Forum of Incident Response and Security Teams, Inc. (“FIRST”) conducts themed regional symposia throughout the year and around the world. The format is formal and includes management, technical, and hands-on components. Symposia typically provide 1-2 full-days of plenary sessions along with a full-day of hands-on training. Plenary content focuses on informal discussions and presentations that are of high interest to FIRST members in those specific regions. They are more sensitive in nature and related to the day-to-day work of participants. Training is interactive and taught by leading security experts in small workgroup settings.
This meeting is open to FIRST members and non-members of the incident response community.
Named one of the Top 19 Information Security Conferences of 2020 by TripWire, the FIRST annual conference promotes worldwide coordination and cooperation among computer security and incident response teams (CSIRTs).
The conference provides a forum for sharing goals, ideas, and information on how to improve computer security on a global scale. This year’s annual conference will be held June 22-27, 2025, in Copenhagen, Denmark.
