The training aims to improve the skills of analysts and technical staff on how to report cyber incidents effectively to non-cyber personnel and decision-makers. It will focus on the gap between technical and strategic analysis of cyber incidents, which may lead to misunderstanding, confusion, or escalation of the situation. Participants will learn about various aspects of the incident reporting cycle, such as who should report, how to categorize, how to assess impact, and how to ensure consistency and clarity of the reports. As an outcome, the training will help the participants to develop a common language and framework for interacting with each other and providing timely, accurate and impactful reports to the leadership or policy level.
The event is organized under the Western Balkans Cybersecurity Capacity Building (‘Cyber Balkans’) project funded by the European Union.
