Workshop on Cybersecurity Legislation and Governance

Main aim of the workshop is informing the process of adoption and implementation of the Law on Network and Information Security (NIS) in North Macedonia. The workshop will serve as a strategic platform for discussions on the proposed implementation and regulatory measures, covering the following topics:
Aligning with the NIS 2 Directive – A deep dive into its core principles and implications and lessons learned from EU Member States
Supervision and enforcement measures – Clarifying the regulatory oversight mechanisms proposed in the law and defining the role of regulators.
Review and prioritization of bylaws – Identifying and planning the development of essential bylaws over the next year.
PPPs and the role of the CICWG – Defining its involvement in key implementation activities.
The event is organized under the Western Balkans Cybersecurity Capacity Building (‘Cyber Balkans’) project funded by the European Union.
