Managing systems’ vulnerabilities and making sure as many as possible are patched before being exploited is one of key prerequisites for any network system’s cyber resilience. The Project will deliver this technical course on vulnerability management focusing on vulnerabilities, weaknesses, configuration mistakes. Discussions involve around liberties and restrictions for CERT scanning of networks, and procedures of information sharing, while making reference to building trust with the CSIRT community. Some tools introduced: IMQ, Shodan, Censys, Hardenize, Acunetix, automatic notifications, etc. The course instructors will be highly experienced experts from the Information System Authority of Estonia, Mr Martin Undusk and Mr Priit Kaup.
The event is organized under the Western Balkans Cybersecurity Capacity Building (‘Cyber Balkans’) project funded by the European Union.
