The 2-day Study Visit and Hands-On Training at the National Cyber Security Authority (AKSK) aims to convene Cyber Incident Response Team (CIRT) experts from the Western Balkans to enhance their technical expertise in responding to cyber incidents. It will address various critical topics, including an overview of AKSK’s operational framework, systems for threat detection and monitoring, coordination of incident response efforts, and the application of cyber range technologies for simulation and training exercises.
Participants will engage in practical, scenario-based exercises designed to refine their incident handling skills and promote regional collaboration. This initiative is pivotal in strengthening regional cybersecurity resilience, facilitating the exchange of knowledge, and aligning practices with international standards to effectively tackle the growing complexity of cyber threats.
The event is organized under the Western Balkans Cybersecurity Capacity Building (‘Cyber Balkans’) project funded by the European Union.
