Cyber Security Summit 2026, organised by e-Transformation Association, will take place on 18–19 November at the Hills Congress Center in Sarajevo, Bosnia and Herzegovina. Under the theme “Securing what connects us”, the sixth edition will bring together cybersecurity professionals, public institutions, businesses and academia for two days of knowledge exchange and regional networking.
Organised by the e-Transformation Association, the summit creates a meeting point for people who develop security solutions, manage organisational risks, shape public policy and prepare the next generation of cybersecurity professionals.
For the Western Balkans, these conversations offer an opportunity to share experience across sectors and borders. Organisations may operate in different environments, but many face similar questions: how to protect essential services, strengthen staff capabilities, make informed security investments and respond effectively when incidents occur.
Two days of knowledge and practical perspectives
The planned programme includes 14 presentations and four panel discussions, alongside CyberSec Expo and a Capture the Flag competition. These formats bring together expert perspectives, opportunities to explore security solutions and a practical challenge for participants interested in testing their technical skills.
For cybersecurity practitioners and IT managers, the summit offers space to exchange approaches, discuss operational challenges and connect with peers. Business leaders and representatives of public institutions can gain perspectives that support decisions about security priorities, organisational preparedness and investment.
Students and members of the academic community will have opportunities to meet professionals and connect their learning with the questions organisations face in practice.
Connecting people across sectors
The theme “Securing what connects us” reflects the summit’s emphasis on the relationships behind cybersecurity: between institutions and businesses, technology and people, and individual expertise and collective preparedness.
A conference brings these perspectives into the same room. Discussions between technical specialists, decision-makers and educators can help participants understand challenges beyond their own roles and identify opportunities to work together.
Networking is therefore an integral part of CSS2026. Participants can use the two days to exchange experiences, establish professional contacts and continue conversations that may lead to cooperation after the event.
Building on five years of exchange
The sixth edition builds on five previous editions of Cyber Security Summit, continuing its role as a meeting place for the cybersecurity community in Bosnia and Herzegovina and the wider region.
CSS2026 invites participants to contribute their experience as well as learn from others. Whether they are responsible for an organisation’s security, developing solutions or beginning a career in the field, attendees will have an opportunity to engage with a community working towards a more secure digital future.
